NHL players have found a new reason to tease Montreal Canadiens‘ sniper Cole Caufield.

And- you know, specifically that Team USA group chat from the Olympics, which- from a media s- perspective and maybe a fan perspective, Katie, I don’t know about you, but it seemed like it took on, like, near mythical status.

Where Team USA players from the Tkachuks to the Quinn, to the Hughes brothers were kinda puppet masters pulling the strings saying, like, “All right, Connor Hellebuyck, you’re gonna go here.

Quinn Hughes, Jack Hughes, all right, you’re going to New Jersey, you’re going here.”
And it’s like the players are like, “Pump the brakes.
That’s not what the chat was all about.
Most days all we’re doing is texting Connor Hellebuyck saying, ‘Hey, Helle, good morning.
Thank you again.
Thank you, Helle.'”
Like, it was really funny to kinda hear their perspective on things because from our perspective, again, it just seems like, you know, if you were on that Olympic team, A, you formed a incredible bond with each other, and B- Right you know, it, it made it seem like all these guys all wanna do is just play together.
