The Montreal Canadiens prospects will play their second and final game of the Prospect Challenge versus the Ottawa Senators on Sunday evening.
The Habs didn’t bring a strong roster to the event, with most of their top players in Europe or preparing for the NCAA season. They fell by a 3-1 score to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday, and will be looking for a strong finish versus the Sens. The three NHL-contracted players on Montreal’s roster — Luke Mittelstadt, Owen Protz, and Tyler Thorpe — will be looked to to lead the charge, but yesterday’s goal-scorer, Alexandr Legkov, will also try to make another strong impression leading into training camp.
