Canadiens Embedded delivers the best behind-the-scenes access through the club’s embedded cameras. The clip style web series brings fans onto the tarmac, inside the dressing room, and into rival NHL arenas for an inside look at game days on the road. Each episode features standout moments, exclusive interviews, and never-before-seen footage from off days and team events.

MONTREAL – But wait, there’s more!

As the offseason winds down, fresh Canadiens content from the memorable 2025-26 campaign keeps coming. On Sunday evening, the season finale of Canadiens Embedded will drop online.

The latest installment of the web series is set to take fans behind the scenes of an undefeated road trip against the Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils during the team’s final extended voyage of the year.

Presented by Air Canada, the episode will debut on the team’s official YouTube channel with a live premiere on August 31 at 7:00 p.m. ET, giving viewers a chance to tune in and join the live chat throughout the 21-minute episode. The episode will also be available to stream on demand immediately following the premiere, on YouTube and canadiens.com.

Here are three storylines to watch from Montreal’s road trip to Nashville, Raleigh, Tampa, New York and Newark.

Meet Adam Nicholas

Get an eye—and an ear—on what a typical morning skate looks like for Adam Nicholas. The Canadiens’ director of hockey development is mic’d up as he leads the team through drills ahead of their matchup with the Lightning in Tampa, offering a behind-the-scenes look at his work while sharing his thoughts on working with head coach Martin St-Louis and what makes Cole Caufield such an elite goalscorer.

Are you mic’d up?!

Yes, Juraj Slafkovsky was mic’d up for part of this episode. After his viral “I am mic’d up. Are you mic’d up!?” clip from 2023, the always-entertaining 22-year-old was back on the mic during a practice in New Jersey, and the banter did not disappoint.

Chasing 50

By the end of this road trip, it was no longer a question of if Caufield would reach the 50-goal mark, but when. The Habs sniper found the back of the net five times in five games, bringing his season total to 49 and putting the coveted milestone well within reach. Caufield also sat down to reflect on what had been a special season.

What’s next?

Fans of behind-the-scenes Habs content have a lot to look forward to before the puck drops for the 2026-27 campaign.

Still to come in September is the team’s annual short film from the NHL Draft, featuring mic’d up meetings and more from the 2026 edition of the event. The fan-favorite feature will premiere on YouTube later in the month.

Plus, as of Tuesday, Crave subscribers in Canada can start streaming season 3 of THE REBUILD: Inside the Montreal Canadiens. The first two episodes of the six-part series will be available to watch on Crave on Sept. 1, with the remaining four episodes dropping weekly every Tuesday until Sept. 29, coinciding with opening night.
