Capitals agree to extension with coach Carbery — The Fourth Period
The Washington Capitals have taken care of some off-ice business, agreeing to a multi-year contract extension with Head Coach Spencer Carbery.
The news was first reported by TFP’s David Pagnotta.
Carbery, who has one-year remaining on his current contract, finished his third season as head coach of the Capitals. He has compiled a 134-83-29 record in 246 games behind Washington’s bench.
