Canadiens’ annual rookie camp will be missing top prospects next week
Unfortunately for Canadiens fans, none of the team’s top prospects will take part in the team’s annual rookie camp, which will open next Friday at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.
Gleb Pugachyov, the Canadiens’ first-round pick (26th overall) at this year’s NHL Draft, won’t be there because the 6-foot-2, 224-pound winger is with the KHL’s Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo.
Forward Alexander Zharovsky, selected in the second round (34th overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft, also won’t there because the 6-foot-2, 176-pound winger is with Ufa Salavat Yulayev in the KHL.
