Wennberg signs 3-year extension with Sharks — The Fourth Period
The San Jose Sharks have signed centre Alexander Wennberg to a three-year, $18 million contract extension.
Wennberg, 31, was in the final year of a two-year, $10 million contract.
In 41 games with the Sharks so far this season, Wennberg has collected seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points.
On Friday, Wennberg was named to Sweden’s men’s ice hockey team for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
