Key Changes from Current System:

• ✅ CBJ (Blue Jackets) — would make it as WC1 in West

• ❌ Whoever currently holds the 7th and 8th playoff spots in the actual system but has fewer regulation wins

• OTT jumps into a Wild Card spot with 132 points (+35 from actual)
• Vegas and Winnipeg tie at 149 pts, both dominating their divisions
• Columbus almost sneaks into playoffs from the Metro despite being 4th in division

• ALL teams lose points because there are no more “loser points”
• Teams with many OT/SO losses are hit hardest (e.g., Columbus -15, Detroit -14, Vancouver -14)
• Tighter races overall — point spreads compress significantly
• Vegas drops 10 points (had 10 OT/SO losses in actual system)
