‘Patrik Laine has played his last game with the Canadiens’

The news isn’t good regarding the Patrik Laine situation. Tony Marinaro and Marc-André Perreault agree that his time with the Canadiens is probably over.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the forward doesn’t return with the Canadiens.
We all hoped the big Finn would revive his career here, but the reality looks different in his second year.

He does leave a very small door open for Wednesday night’s game, as Laine could suit up against his former team.
Everything is pointing toward the end for Patrik Laine
Kent Hughes took a low-risk gamble by acquiring the goal scorer.
Laine provided solid service to the Canadiens last year, but his level of commitment was heavily criticized.
The Canadiens face Winnipeg on Wednesday before a long two-week break. It will be the perfect opportunity for management to take stock and turn the page if necessary.
If this truly is the end, we’ll barely have had time to see him play at the Bell Centre.
