Leo Carlsson will miss his second straight game when the Ducks visit the Los Angeles Kings on Friday (10:30 p.m. ET; FDSNW, Victory+, KCOP-13, SNE, SNP, SNW, SNO). The forward, who leads the Ducks in scoring with 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) in 44 games, has a lower-body injury and his status will be updated soon, coach Joel Quenneville said. …Jeffrey Viel was acquired by the Ducks in a trade with the Boston Bruins on Friday for a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The 28-year-old forward has no points in 10 games this season and five points (three goals, two assists) in 64 regular-season games for the Bruins and San Jose Sharks.
