Laval Rocket hires new goalie coach from Concordia University
The summer after St. Louis was hired, the Canadiens brought in former NHL defenceman Stéphane Robidas as an assistant coach to replace Luke Richardson, who left to become head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks. Robidas’s only previous coaching experience was with the Cantonniers de Magog, who he led to the Quebec midget Triple-A championship in 2022. Before coaching in Magog, Robidas spent four years working in player development with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
