Habs alumni game set for Neguac next month
NEGUAC – Montreal Canadiens fans from the Miramichi region and the Acadian Peninsula will soon get to see some of their heroes from yesteryear hit the ice against a team of local stars.
The Village of Neguac will host a Canadiens alumni game against Les Villageois, a local squad, on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Neguac Sportsplex.
The village announced the news on Jan. 9 in a post on its Facebook page.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. for the event, and all proceeds will support the sportsplex.
