The Canadian forward, who plays for the Florida Panthers, had four points in four games at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Reinhart is expected to play on the second line with Nathan MacKinnon and Brandon Hagel, and the first power with MacKinnon, Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby and Cale Makar. Reinhart is tied for first in the NHL in power-play goals (50 in 218 games) and is 10th in power-play points (86) since the start of the 2023-24 season. The Czechia forward, who plays for the Colorado Avalanche, has 62 points (22 goals, 40 assists) in 52 games in the NHL this regular season. Necas has 90 points (33 goals, 57 assists) in 82 career games with the Avalanche dating back to the 2024-25 season. The 27-year-old is expected to play on the first line for Czechia with David Pastrnak (39 primary assists; leads NHL) and Tomas Hertl. Per NHL EDGE stats, Necas ranks 10th in the entire NHL in 22-plus mph speed bursts (21) and seventh in 20-plus mph bursts (229) and ranks highly among forwards in max skating speed (23.24 mph; 92nd percentile), max shot speed (92.45 mph; 92nd percentile), average shot speed (59.96; 91st percentile), midrange shots on goal (51; 92nd percentile) and midrange goals (nine; 95th percentile). — Meaney

Werenski ranks second among NHL defensemen in both goals (20) and points (62 in 52 games) this season and leads the position in points per game (1.19). Werenski, who leads the Columbus Blue Jackets in goals, assists (42) and points, also leads NHL defensemen in even-strength goals (17) and even-strength points (46). Although Quinn Hughes is expected to be the No. 1 defenseman for the United States after missing the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off because of injury, Werenski quietly led the U.S. in both assists (six) and points (six) and also was tied for third in shots on goal (13) during the 4 Nations Face-Off. Peterka reached the 20-goal mark faster than he ever has in his NHL career (56 games) playing for the Utah Mammoth this season. The 24-year-old is set to make his Olympic debut after helping Germany win silver at the the 2023 IIHF World Championship, the country’s first medal at the event in 70 years. Peterka, who set NHL career highs in assists (41 in 77 games), points (68), power-play goals (six) and power-play assists (18) for the Buffalo Sabres last season, is expected to play a top-six role for Germany, which as the ceiling of advancing to the medal round. Peterka has been practicing on the team’s top power-play unit with Leon Draisaitl, Tim Stutzle, Lukas Reichel and Moritz Seider.
