Canadiens to start Dobes vs. Blues, Montembeault out with illness
This will be Dobes’ second start in as many days after he helped the Canadians pull off a 2-1 shootout win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
Dobes has 10 wins over 15 games this season and boasts a .895 save percentage.
Kahkonen has yet to appear in an NHL game this season. The 29-year-old only played one NHL game last season while he was with the Colorado Avalanche.
The Canadiens will host the Blues at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sunday.
