TORONTO – Alexandre Texier scored a one-handed goal in the shootout as the Canadiens topped the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday.

Texier’s highlight-reel came after Cole Caufield netted a second shootout goal in as many games. Caufield also scored his team-leading 15^th goal of the season in regulation for Montreal.

Jakub Dobes made 22 saves en route to the victory.
