Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis speaks with the team during a practice on Monday.

The Canadiens have five sets of back-to-back games during the next month, starting with games Friday afternoon in Las Vegas against the Golden Knights and Saturday afternoon in Denver against the Colorado Avalanche. In December, the Canadiens will have a stretch of 13 games in 22 days.

On this Hockey Inside/Out Show bonus episode, The Gazette’s Stu Cowan is joined by former Canadiens teammates and 1986 Stanley Cup champions Chris Nilan and Rick Green, who talk about what such a grueling schedule is like for players and coaches.

Nilan and Green also talk about their game-day routines as players and how they changed for afternoon games. They also share some other fun stories about their days as teammates.

We’ll have two more bonus episodes coming up during the next few days.
