Habs Reveal 2026 Rookie Camp Roster – HabsWorld.net
HabsWorld.net —
With Rookie Camp starting up next week, the Habs released the list of invitees to camp, including a tournament next weekend. As expected, it is a group filled with plenty of invitees and few prospects.
As we noted earlier this week, most of Montreal’s top prospects are playing overseas or in the NCAA, taking them out of the mix for this camp. Meanwhile, most of Laval’s regulars are also getting a pass from this camp, resulting in few players actually drafted by the Habs taking part. The roster is as follows:
Forwards:
Dillan Bentley, Alexander Donovan, Kody Dupuis, Aleksandr Legkov, Braydon McCallum, Josh Nadeau, Mavrick Rousseau-Hamel, Thomas Rousseau, Wesley Royston, Tyler Thorpe, Parker Trottier, Alexey Vlasov, Braidy Wassilyn
Drafted by Montreal: Royston, Thorpe, Trottier
Minor-League Contracts: Bentley, Legkov, Nadeau
Tryouts: Donovan, Dupuis, McCallum, Rousseau-Hamel, Rousseau, Vlasov, Wassilyn
Defencemen:
Jean-Samuel Daigneault, Aiden Dubinsky, Brayden Klimpke, Andrew MacNiel, Kale McCallum, Luke Mittelstadt, Owen Protz
Drafted by Montreal: Daigneault, Klimpke, MacNiel, Mittelstadt, Protz
Minor-League Contracts: Dubinsky, McCallum
Goalies:
Francesco Lapenna, Arseni Radkov, Mikus Vecvanags
Drafted by Montreal: Radkov, Vecvanags
Minor-League Contracts: Lapenna
The camp gets underway on September 11th with a practice before games on Saturday (vs Winnipeg) and Sunday (vs Ottawa). After an off-day Monday for the annual golf tournament, there will be a final practice on September 15th with a handful of players likely to get an invitation to Montreal’s main training camp.
