F1’s Lewis Hamilton continues to rep the Montreal Canadiens this summer
Lewis Hamilton is getting a lot of mileage out of his Montreal Canadiens cap.
After the seven-time Canadian Grand Prix winner first delighted Montreal fans with his sartorial choice back in June, the British Formula 1 driver once again donned his white Habs hat in his latest Instagram photo dump.
You can see him sporting the cap twice, both times while riding a motorcycle.
“Mountain daylight time,” the second-place finisher at this year’s Canadian GP wrote in his caption.
The time-zone reference suggests Hamilton may have worn the headwear in the presence of new partner Kim Kardashian. She doesn’t appear in Hamilton’s photo carousel, but he factors into hers, posted a day before. He’s hatless in the one shared shot of their vacation in Idaho.
“Summers at the lake with my favourite people,” Kardashian wrote.
The NHL was quick to jump on the post for their own socials, saying “Just blessing your timelines with another @LewisHamilton x @CanadiensMTL collab!”
Hamilton’s longtime love affair with the city went into overdrive this year. His second-place finish at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve was topped only by a win at Barcelona-Catalunya, and he celebrated at the time by saying he would attend Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final between the Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes.
He also said, “Montreal just never ceases to deliver every year,” in addition to complimenting our collective kindness.
Hamilton’s F1 season resumes this weekend with the Belgian Grand Prix. He’s currently third in the drivers’ standings, behind Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
