Canadiens unveil projected lineup for Game 1 against Lightning

The Montreal Canadiens have unveiled their projected lineup for Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at 5:45 PM.

No changes up front compared to what we saw this week.

Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, and Juraj Slafkovsky form the first line.

Alexandre Texier, Alex Newhook, and Ivan Demidov are on the second line.

Zachary Bolduc, Oliver Kapanen, and Kirby Dach make up the third line.

Jake Evans, Phillip Danault, and Josh Anderson round out the forward group on the fourth line.

Brendan Gallagher, Joe Veleno, and Patrik Laine are the extra forwards.

St-Louis reshuffles Canadiens’ defensive pairings before playoff opener in Tampa Bay

On defense, head coach Martin St-Louis made a few small adjustments to his pairings.

Mike Matheson and Alexandre Carrier on the first pair.

Kaiden Guhle and Lane Hutson on the second.

Jayden Struble and Arber Xhekaj on the third.

Adam Engstrom and David Reinbacher are the extra defensemen.

Jakub Dobes will be in net for the Montreal Canadiens for this first game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
