Quebec hockey fan crisis: Where have all our homegrown stars gone?
Habs fans care first and foremost about the success of the team they love, not where the players grew up. People here love Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson, and it doesn’t bother them in the slightest that these Canadiens stars hail from Ontario, Wisconsin, Slovakia, Russia and the suburbs of Chicago, respectively.
