The Habs announced winger Alexandre Texier and defenceman Arber Xhekaj will be healthy scratches for Saturday’s game against the visiting Washington Capitals.

Forward Zachary Bolduc and defenceman Jayden Struble will be in the lineup while goalie Jakub Dobes will get the start in net.
Texier, 26, has seven goals and 11 assists over 31 games with the Habs this season since being acquired off waivers from the St. Louis Blues in November.
The 25-year-old Xhekaj has two points in 51 games in 2025-26.
Montreal is holding down the top Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference with 73 points through 58 games.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Rookie forward Easton Cowan is set to return to the lineup against the Ottawa Senators, his first game since the NHL resumed followed the Olympic break.
The 20-year-old has seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points while averaging 13:31 of ice time per game in 43 outings this season as a rookie.
He was selected No. 28 overall by the Maple Leafs in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Joseph Woll will get the start in net.
