There have been six general managers since the start of the 2000-01 season — Réjean Houle, André Savard, Bob Gainey, Pierre Gauthier, Marc Bergevin and Kent Hughes — and nine head coaches — Alain Vigneault, Michel Therrien (twice), Claude Julien (twice), Gainey (twice on an interim basis), Guy Carbonneau, Jacques Martin, Randy Cunneyworth (interim), Dominique Ducharme and Martin St. Louis. More than 300 players (331 to be exact) and 28 goalies have worn a Canadiens sweater since the start of the 2000-01 season.
